Meditation, the sea, breathing and the body have always been key points in the life of Citlali; Born underwater in Manzanillo, Colima , Mexico. Citlali began to experience meditation from a young age, she was initiated by a guru in Mexico at 6 years old influenced by her mother.
Her spiritual path began to strengthen as time passed along with expanding the connection with her body, mind and spirit.
Her teaching method is based on a fusion of her own personal practice and mastery of asanas and breathing- combining different styles rhythmically. Citlali is also passionate about her underwater photography, surfing, nature and scuba diving. Citlali teaches a fusion of her various styles including:
Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Yoga, Restorative yoga, Vinyasa Fusion with Live Music & Meditation with Sound Healing. Practice with Citlali every Monday 8:30am for a warming + energizing morning flow
My name is Marella, and for me yoga is a way of living. My first aproach with yoga was with one of my best friends, my soul sister Pau. She was teaching yoga and she always invited me to her clases but for some reason I was rejecting her until the day my life changed. I fell in love so much with the practice that six months later I was taking my first TTC in Mexico City (Vinyasa Yoga and Inversions 200hr) with Fabian Montes de Oca, one of the most amazing teachers I’ve ever met. After that training I decided to start teaching to my friends and family and one of my students got pregnant so I decided to take a Pregnancy Yoga TTC in 2018. I’ve always been a never ending student and my curiosity about yoga was growing more everyday, so I decided to get past my fear and book a plane to India- where I had the most amazing and fulfilling experience in my life. There, I spend one whole month in an Ashram at the very south of India learning about Hatha Yoga and Filosofy from India, after that I spent more time traveling and learning more about the beautiful people and culture of this magical place. Now it’s been one year since I moved to Cabo, where I am completely greatful and happy to share my teachings with all the ones who are appearing in my path of life.
For me, practice is an art of transformation. Through physically moving the body, restoring the nervous system, creating space in the body through movement and the breath- we have the tools within ourselves to raise our consciousness, heal, and transform. These practices have brought so much healing and growth into my own life, it’s truly an honor to now share it with others. My intention is to bring comfort, nourishment, joy and hopefully a smile to anyone joining my classes.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with over 500 hours of training in various practices such as: Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Sound Healing, Yoga Nidra, Breathwork & Meditation. I am a proud student of the Yandara Yoga Institute. I extract inspiration from the different styles I practice, my teachers & friends, nature, music and the energy of the room. I hope to practice with you soon!
HOLA! I’m Elisa and I am a 500 hour registered yoga teacher. Yoga is my passion, my religion, my release, and my lifestyle. My first introduction to the practice was at the age of 9 when my Mum had scheduled private yoga lessons for my dad, brother, her and I weekly. But it was not until the early months of 2017 that I reintroduced a more consistent practice into my daily life. And then several months after, I found myself in Bali, Indonesia for a 200 hour Hatha-Vinyasa teacher training course at the Power Of Now Oasis. I began teaching weekly classes at a yoga shala in Napa California immediately following my return. My passion for this practice led me to India in October of 2019 where I completed my 300 hour Vinyasa training course with a focus on Ashtanga Adjustments at Kranti Yoga in Goa. I love discovering and challenging the body to flow through unknown territories with mindfulness and compassion towards its limitations. With me, you’ll find the secret dance within your soul that is expressed when the breath becomes the conductor. I strive towards creating a safe and comfortable environment that will keep my students smiling and on their toes!
Michelle moved to Los Cabos from Calgary, Canada in 2018. She was a full time high school math teacher for many years, finally retiring to teach Pilates and Yoga. She is certified in mat and reformer Pilates, Bikram, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga. Michelle currently teaches Bikram in our studio on Friday evenings and is grateful for the opportunity to practice traditional hot yoga!
Audrey Lane (E-RYT 500/level 4 Forrest Yoga teacher) has been teaching yoga since she took her first training in New York City in 2011. Her classes include mindful movement, breathwork, vinyasa sequences, and (based on the needs of her students) challenging arm balances and inversions, followed by deep rest. She believes that the most important aspect of teaching is relationship building- both between student and teacher as well as each of our relationships to our own body and spirit. For that reason, she prioritizes getting to know her students' needs, injuries, and goals. She strongly believes that all classes are a co-creation. Expect fun sequences with tons of up-levels and down-levels and a huge variety of poses. She can't wait to meet you and share space with you!
We met on a diving trip in 1998 up the Sea of Cortez and have been exploring and enjoying the Baja (and each other) since. We practiced Hot Yoga for 10 plus years until we purchased the Shala in 2015. We had 2 sons born and raised here that also enjoy Yoga. Life in the Garden with Yoga is a dream for us and for the community.
